Steven P. McCauley passed peacefully Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his home in St. Louis. Steve was born June 11, 1947, in Boonville. He graduated in 1969 from Missouri State University (known as Southwest Missouri State College then) and began teaching that fall at Richmond High School. He taught English there, and during the 1976 77 school year, he also taught drama.

Steve was an energetic, outgoing man who was musically talented. He played piano and organ at church services and weddings. He also wrote music and poetry.

For the past several years, Steve had been an apartment manager for Dubinsky and Sons in St. Louis.
