Ray County Jail escapee found in Tulsa
Escaped convict Justin Robinson, 39, of Richmond was found at a bus station in Tulsa, Okla., by U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), according to Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers.
The sheriff said USMS confirmed Robinson had shaved his head, wore a neck brace to cover tattoos, had a phone and wore a newly pressed shirt.
“We know he has family in Tulsa and Texas – that winded up to a solid lead,” he said. “We will be seeking a search warrant on the cell phone to see who Robinson was in contact with. We are partnering with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) to move forward with charging people through the federal system with harboring a fugitive and obstruction of justice.”
Childers confirmed he is awaiting reports from USMS as of press time.
Convicts Liam Olinger, 20, of Kansas City and Robinson escaped Ray County Jail March 27. Olinger and Robinson were each charged with two felonies – escape or attempted escape from confinement with a deadly weapon and second-degree assault.
