It’s business as usual for Aggies
Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) varsity coach AndrewWatson and hisAggies don’t have an 8-man football game this week, but that doesn’t mean they’re taking a week off from football.
The Aggies (4-5) will next play under stadium lights on Nov. 3, when they face Southwest of Livingston County/Hale/Tina-Avalon (4-5) at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at Hardin-Central in the District 4 semifinals, with the winner playing for the title of the five-team single-elimination tournament Nov. 10. To avoid showing any signs of rust after two weeks away from competition when they face the Wildcats, it’s key to treat this week like a typical practice week, according to Watson.
“The more we can get these guys dialed in and keep them practicing and keep them on their routine, I feel like the better they’ll be ready come (about) two weeks from now,” he said near the end of Monday’s practice at Hardin-Central.
The Aggies are preparing to face a co-op they defeated 50-28 in Week 6 at Hardin-Central.
