Richmond High School students embarked on a remarkable journey to the Future Farmers of America (FFA) state convention in Columbia, showcasing dedication and passion for agriculture. The convention was a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and skills in various agricultural fields. Their hard work paid off, as many took home awards in different categories. FFA students Will Robinson, Allison Coats and Sam Curtis were awarded the prestigious Gold Emblem Chapter recognition when they ranked 14th place. This recognition is a testament to their hard work, dedication and passion for agriculture. “This is an award we apply for every year,” stated FFA Advisor Laura Allen. “Our FFA chapter earned the gold rank for the first time this year, and we are thrilled to be ranked 14 in the state.
